I found a great free magazine called Oregon Scenic Byways, at one of the rest areas that I stopped at that was filled of scenic road trips in Oregon. So while I was driving all over the place (coast to central back to coast and back to the center again, because I hadn’t really solidified my plans) I figured I would check out some of the drives. And of course I was driving towards Mount Hood in the fading sun so this drive is probably way better in the daylight. The drive is called Mt. Hood Scenic Byway….real original huh. Lol Because this weather is so dreary, cold, wet, chilly there are a ton of low lying clouds and fog that are stealing away the magnificent views of this mountain. I am not a winter person so there wasn’t much for me to do up near the ski resorts and stuff but they were starting to get packed as the day was going on. But I still got a few photos and saw some great views.
